Real food for everyone. One order at a time.
Next Door is an urban casual American eatery serving affordable real food sourced from American farmers. Next Door is a high energy restaurant and bar with an urban vibe.
Next Door is committed to serving real food - food we trust to nourish our bodies, our farmers, and our communities. We are dedicated to environmentally-friendly practices such as composting, wind power, eco-friendly packaging, and recycling. Fast Company has named Next Door and its sister restaurants The Kitchen one of the most innovative food companies in the world.
Today there are Next Door locations across Colorado and many more coming to cities across America's Heartland.
The first Next Door opened in Boulder, Colo. in 2011 on Pearl Street. When co-founders Jen Lewin, Hugo Matheson, and Kimbal Musk opened The Kitchen in 2004 they had a simple plan to serve seasonal, real food sourced from local farmers. Using that same ethos, they created Next Door to ensure everyone in the community had access to affordable, real food. Today, Next Door is pioneering Urban Casual — a new approach to dining out that is faster, more fun and affordable to the average American. And, true to the co-founder's goals of making their real food restaurants more accessible, Next Door serves over 10,000 guests a week in the Denver metro area and sources millions of dollars a year from American farmers.
Next Door strives to be an integral part of the community and that starts with schools. Next Door partners with The Kitchen Community, a non-profit organization that builds outdoor Learning Gardens classrooms in schools across America. Thank you for eating at Next Door to help build Learning Gardens in your local schools.
Next Door also hosts a school donation program on Monday nights called 50|4U. We donate 50% of food and drink sales to a local participating school. If you're school is interested in hosting a 504U, we invite your PTA to fill out this form!
