Health & Safety of Our Guests and Employees

The health and safety of our guests and employees is always our top priority and The Kitchen Restaurant Group (TKRG) has taken additional measures to ensure we're providing a safe and healthy environment for everyone in our restaurants. In light of the ongoing COVID-19 (Coronavirus) pandemic, all TKRG restaurants are adhering to the following safety guidelines effective immediately:

  • Social Distancing: All restaurants will have spaces marked on the floor for guests waiting for take-out orders, waiting to be seated or waiting to use the restroom. We are adhering to capacity restrictions from local city and state officials and are ensuring our tables are spaced appropriately to allow for proper social distancing between parties. 

  • Personal Protective Equipment (PPE): All restaurants are equipped with gloves and employees that have been provided face coverings or masks. Employees are changing their gloves every 20 minutes or between tasks, and have been trained on how to properly wear their face covering according to the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) and World Health Organization (WHO) guidance. TKRG is also following all state and city-specific guidelines regarding PPE for both guests and employees. 

  • Preventing Illness & Proper Hygiene: Employees are required to wash their hands every 20 minutes or between tasks, and have been trained on how to properly wash their hands according to the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) and World Health Organization (WHO) guidance. Appropriate signage and resources are also posted in the restaurants for both guests and employees to reference in regard to maintaining proper hygiene, guidelines for preventing illness, and other state and city-specific guidelines.

  • Touchless Transactions: Each restaurant will keep their entry door open whenever possible to encourage 'touchless' transactions. Guests are also strongly encouraged to order ahead of time by calling the restaurant or using the Next Door mobile app. 

  • Cleaning & Sanitation: Every restaurant is equipped with an EPA-registered peroxide disinfectant and has been provided specific training regarding cleaning and sanitation standards. Our restaurants also adhere to a recurring schedule for disinfecting all high-touch surfaces which include door handles, tabletops, chairs and guest touchpoints such as the POS and iPads, beer and wine handle taps, pens, light controls, handles to sinks and restroom surfaces (toilet handle, sink handle, the surface around the sink). We also utilize single-use menus in our restaurants and are adapting our service style, where possible, to ensure the health and safety of our guests and employees. This includes the use of disposable silverware and an increase in to-go offerings.

  • Wellness Checks: We require daily wellness and temperature checks for all employees working in our restaurant and have established procedures for all team members that may become ill before, during or after their shift.
